Not a fast swimmer

The flippers of the Asian small-clawed otter are less well developed than in other otter species. As a result, the small-clawed otter cannot swim as fast.

Eternal faithfulness

Unlike other otter species, the small-clawed otter lives in groups. A pair stays together throughout their lives. When the young are sexually mature, they leave the group to find a mate on their own.
