AquaZoo Leeuwarden voted Best Outing of Province of Friesland

AquaZoo Leeuwarden has been named the "Funniest Outing in Friesland. During a digital meeting, it was announced that the zoo received the most votes in the election, which was organized by the ANWB.

The outings were rated by voters in terms of price/quality, atmosphere, facilities, staff and offerings.

RatingJeroen Loomeijer, general manager of AquaZoo, is extremely pleased with the award. "It was a tough year for us due to the closure. We are therefore extra happy with this appreciation. AquaZoo is a fantastic park and we hope to be able to show this to everyone again soon."

It is the eleventh time that the ANWB awards the most enjoyable outing awards. This year people cast their votes in the categories 'province' and 'national' (for attractions with more than 450,000 visitors per year). This resulted in a top-3 in all categories.
