AquaZoo Friesland achieves 100,000th visitor

On Sunday, September 18, AquaZoo Friesland welcomed its 100,000th visitor of 2016. Charlene is the happiest visitor of the year, as she, along with her father, mother and little brother, won a one-year pass to AquaZoo. Not only was this a celebratory moment for Charlene, but also for the park itself.

Branch manager Jeroen Loomeijer: "For both AquaZoo and Libéma this is a milestone that we are once again proud of. Especially if we look at where we are coming from. In 2015 we only achieved 81,000 visitors. Now that we have already received 100,000 visitors this year in September, our goal of 120,000 visitors is getting pretty close."

The positive growth is also mainly due to the return of more groups, including children's parties and healthcare facilities. "AquaZoo is also an ideal location for all ages and offers a good mix of education and relaxation. Moreover, groups benefit from a reduced rate, which makes a (repeat) visit extra attractive," Loomeijer said.
