Stichting Wildlife at AquaZoo seeks enthusiastic volunteers

Stichting Wildlife at AquaZoo Leeuwarden is looking for enthusiastic volunteers. The volunteers are committed to conservation projects in several ways. An information moment will be held on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m.

Volunteers engage in nature education, for example in the ring-tailed lemur walk-through area. Volunteers here tell visitors about the threats to the species, what visitors can do to protect it, and the role of Stichting Wildlife. Monitoring in this area is also one of the tasks here.

Stichting Wildlife volunteers are also involved in collecting donations, including sorting deposit bottles.

Training
Anyone who is over 18 years old, masters the Dutch language and has social skills can become a volunteer. A volunteer is available at least three half-days a month, working hours are always by mutual agreement and are set in a schedule.

Stichting Wildlife is hosting a course for new volunteers on Saturday, March 23. During the following period, the prospective volunteer will walk with us for several days and after a successful test on Saturday, April 20, the volunteer will start working independently! There is also an opportunity to continue learning to become a guide after that.

Interested parties can register at: info@stichtingwildlife.nl.
