More than twenty lifelike ancestors of some current residents will be given a place in the park during these theme weeks. The Brachiosaurus is the literal and figurative highlight these days: the dino is 11 meters tall.

General manager of AquaZoo Leeuwarden Jeroen Loomeijer: "The Dino Weeks are not only educational because of the information boards at the dinosaurs, but also interactive. In fact, children can do a free dino treasure hunt in the park or take a ride on the Protoceratops. Proceeds from this dino-ride will go to Stichting Wildlife."
