Record number of visitors for AquaZoo Friesland!

More than 1,900 guests came to AquaZoo Friesland today for a splashing day. This large number of visitors means a daily record for the park, but the magic limit of 100,000 visitors this year has also been reached. The four spectacular Nile crocodiles, which arrived at AquaZoo just before the summer vacations, are a real attraction.

"Partly due to the investments in new animal enclosures, catering and gaming facilities, we are seeing a large increase in visitor numbers," says branch manager Jeroen Loomeijer, "We are of course extremely proud of this record! It confirms that we are heading in the right direction".

Nile crocodiles
Just before the summer vacations, AquaZoo welcomed four Nile crocodiles into a brand new enclosure. The keepers have chosen the names Jamilia, Azizi, Rafiki, La Lajita for the crocodiles. In addition to four real crocodiles, there is also a fake crocodile in the spacious enclosure, which includes a large waterfall. Visitors can thus once feel the rough skin of a crocodile.
