AquaZoo Leeuwarden wins silver in Best Outing election

AquaZoo has won the second prize in the ANWB election of the "Funniest Outing in Friesland. The award ceremony was organized by the ANWB on Feb. 17 and a total of 75,000 votes were cast.

The outings were rated by voters in terms of price/quality, atmosphere, facilities, customer-friendliness and offerings.

Jeroen Loomeijer, general manager of AquaZoo, is proud of this award: "It has been a difficult time because of corona. We even had to close our park four times in the last two years. So we want to thank everyone for voting and are very happy with this appreciation from our visitors."

It was the third time in a row that AquaZoo won awards. This year, AquaZoo was judged especially positively on the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere in the park.

Twelfth timeIt was the twelfth time that the ANWB handed out the "Funnest Outing Awards" in the "province" and "national" categories. This resulted in a top-3 in all categories.
