Kids on adventures while parents work

Leeuwarden, Jan. 23, 2020 - AquaZoo is offering parents the chance to work during the teachers' strike on Jan. 30 while their children are accompanied on a special tour of the park. Especially for this day, the zoo is arranging workstations for fathers and mothers so they can quietly handle the most important things there, knowing that their children will have a great time under supervision.

The special children's tours will leave every full hour on Thursday, Jan. 30, starting at 1 p.m.. Parents can then visit the restaurant, where there is also WIFI. The intention is for parents to stay in the park while their sons and daughters enjoy themselves. Of course, parents can also visit the park with their children afterwards.

Puzzle

Jeroen Loomeijer, general manager at AquaZoo, hopes this action will help working parents. "For many parents, Thursday is a busy working day and it is a puzzle for many people to come up with a good solution this strike day. With this action, they can combine the useful with the pleasant and still take care of the most necessary things for their work while their children get an interesting, educational tour. And before or after that they can also explore the park together, of course."
