Stichting Wildlife

AquaZoo Leeuwarden and Stichting Wildlife are inseparable and fight together for a better world. Stichting Wildlife's volunteers are at AquaZoo every day and are active in various activities in the park. With these activities, they raise money that is used to support the foundation's conservation projects. For example, there are projects on giant otters, South American tapirs and red pandas. In addition, Stichting Wildlife volunteers give educational tours for groups, school trips and children's parties.

Adopt an animal

It is possible to adopt an animal from one of the parks. As little as €25 per year, you can become the proud adopter of one of the animals. The adoption fee benefits the animal and nature conservation projects supported by the foundation. If you want to adopt an animal, please click here.
